Dom Art Projects is pleased to announce its participation in Tokyo Gendai 2026 with a solo presentation of works by Kirill Makarov.

Working across figurative painting and digital media, Makarov explores the shifting boundary between physical and technologically mediated images. Combining traditional painting with ultraviolet printing, augmented reality, and video games, his practice investigates the evolving relationship between image-making and technology.

Kirill Makarov is a painter and multimedia artist whose practice synthesizes figurative painting with digital media, including computer graphics, augmented reality, game-based environments, and ultraviolet prints. He explores the dynamic relationships between humans, images, and machines, creating hybrid spaces in which traditional painting converges with digital representation and visual technologies.
