The residency of artist Petr Kirušha took place in February and March 2026. During this time, he captured both the landscapes of Al Quoz and the rapidly transforming cityscape of Dubai, while also producing a series of drawings reflecting the atmosphere of some of the most anxious days of the year.
As his residency comes to an end and he prepares to return to Latvia, we invite you to join us for an informal meeting with the artist. This will be an opportunity to see the works created during the residency and to discuss his experience of living and working in Dubai, as well as the visual observations that found their way into his paintings and drawings.
Petr Kirušha is a painter and draughtsman born in 1978 in Dushanbe and based in Riga, Latvia.
