Frieze Sculpture

Dom Art Projects is pleased to announce its participation in Frieze Sculpture 2026 with a new sculpture by Elena Nemkova.

Dom Art Projects will present Agony in the Garden (2026), a new sculpture by Elena Nemkova. Conceived as a gesture of hope and reconciliation, the work reflects on resilience, perception, and the relationship between nature and the urban landscape. The presentation is supported by the Mtec Bursary, awarded by Mtec Fine Art to Dom Art Gallery and Elena Nemkova in support of the new commission.

Elena Nemkova is an artist from Tajikistan who lives and works in Milan. Coming from a family of scientists, her practice explores the hidden tension between advanced scientific research and the archaic instincts that continue to shape human behaviour. Working across performance, sculpture, and drawing, Nemkova creates unified visual spaces that bring these different modes of practice into dialogue.
