Designed for children aged 7–12, this program brings together art history, gallery experience, and art making. Guided by a practicing artist, children explore different artistic mediums and movements through creative experiments, drawing inspiration from both celebrated masterpieces and our current contemporary art exhibitions.
October 24, 2026 - Art of Installation
Would you like to step inside your drawing and spend some time there? Louise Bourgeois, Anselm Kiefer, and Ilya Kabakov may well have asked themselves the very same question. We will discover how artists transform spaces into artworks, explore where the art of installation begins, and create our own immersive art environment.
October 26, 2026 - Prints and traces in Art
We will immerse ourselves in the world of artist Sarah Masinae, a resident of Dom Art Projects. In this session, we will explore how artists incorporate personal experience, evoke mood, and solve a wide range of creative tasks through printing and printmaking techniques. During the artistic practice, we will try doing this ourselves.
Families can choose to join the 12 session block, 6 session block or individual sessions. Each block offers a complete experience in itself, while the full journey reveals how art and artistic expression have evolved and transformed across different periods and cultures.
