Botanical Time Capsule

A Children’s Workshop Inspired by Time That Grows Slowly
Dom Art Projects invites young explorers to Botanical Time Capsule, a special workshop inspired by the exhibition Time That Grows Slowly.

Plants have long been more than subjects in art. They carry stories of time, transformation, memory, and place. During the workshop, children will be invited to look closely at the botanical world and discover how artists throughout history have observed, interpreted, and reimagined plants through art.

Using magnifying glasses, they will examine real leaves and flowers, tracing their delicate structures, textures, colors, and forms. These observations will become the starting point for their own artistic experiments.

Working with natural pigments, botanical prints, fabric, clay, dried plants, and fragrant herbs, each child will create a unique small-scale artwork inspired by the quiet rhythms of nature and the slow growth of plants.

Botanical Time Capsule is not simply a drawing workshop. It is an invitation to observe, remember, imagine, and create, and to consider how a moment in nature can be transformed into something that lasts.

Each participant will take their artwork home: a small personal time capsule of nature, memory, and time.
