Art: Craft, Context & Meaning explores key turning points in art history, examining how historical shifts, philosophy, and scientific discoveries gave rise to new visual languages.
Through the experiments of Wassily Kandinsky, Kazimir Malevich, Piet Mondrian, and other artists at the turn of the 20th century, abstraction transformed the way art could be created and experienced. This session explores the development of abstract art and its connections with music, outer space, and mathematics.
In this session, participants will follow in the footsteps of one of the pioneers of abstraction and experiment with creating their own work.
For participants aged 17+.
