The conversation will focus on Skidan’s video What Would You Call a Weirdness That Hasn’t Quite Come Together?, part of her long-term interdisciplinary project of the same title, which examines perception, post-digital reality, and the transformation of the body under technological and cultural pressure.
Working across video, sculpture, and sound, Skidan explores the instability of identity, the emergence of hybrid forms, and the figure of the cybershaman as a mediator between the physical and the virtual. The project reflects on how contemporary subjectivity is shaped within a technogenic, post-contemporary condition.
The event is free and open to the public, with prior registration required.
